David Sacks is a Senior Investigator and Chief of Clinical Chemistry at the National Institutes of Health, Adjunct Professor of Medicine at Georgetown University, Clinical Professor of Pathology at George Washington University and Honorary Professor of Clinical Laboratory Sciences at the University of Cape Town. He obtained his M.B., Ch.B. from the University of Cape Town, South Africa. After residencies in both Internal Medicine and in Clinical Pathology, he spent 21 years at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Sacks has published >275 papers in peer reviewed journals and has served on several editorial boards.
